Shooting war: The stories behind the photographers

The Globe and Mail’s year-long series, Conflict Photographers, pays homage to the photojournalists who have given so much in perilous times. Their bravery and commitment to their craft allows us to understand the significance of historic events through a visual narrative. Using each photograph as source and specimen, Dr. Anthony Feinstein, Canada's foremost expert on the emotional and psychological effects of war on journalists, journeys into the personal experience of documenting war and conflict, and the results with lasting effects.
